Predappio, Mussolini’s birthplace
Predappio is a tiny town in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, 15 km from Forli, where I spent a semester studying at the University of Bologna. The place is only known by the fact that there was born (1883) and buried (1945) the fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.

Lippo, Bologna, Italy
One day during the time I lived in Italy I felt an urgent desire to visit a modern art museum. it doesn’t often happen to me, so I could not resist. The museum was supposed to be in Bologna, which is not far from the town I lived in, so a friend of mine and me decided to make this short trip for the sake of art.
I must add a small observation here: in Italy it is quite ok to give the same name to several streets in one city….
To put it briefly, after a long bus drive we found ourselves in front of this beautiful field somewhere in the suburbs of Bologna.
And the museum I have found half a year later, during my next stay in Italy. It is quite interesting by the way (although I didn’t come to understand anything about modern art).
